notes | preprinted inlay with laser printed titles. the album title hadn't been defined yet. from the ebay auction form: this was a promotional cassette that was sent out by DGC way before there was a set album title and track listing. Here is what some of the songs would be renamed: Milk Made = Milk It Four Month Media Blackout = Radio Friendly Unit Shifter Perky New Wave Number=Very Ape Fine Print= Tourettes Audio quality is not the best, possibly due to the record company not wanting bootleg copies being sold, I don't know. It sounded like this back in 1993 when I got it. |

notes | preprinted inlay with laser printed titles. the album title hadn't been defined yet.. final master, may 22, 1993. some track titles are different from those used on the final release ('frances farmer', 'tourrets', 'penny royal tea'). it also includes 'I hate myself and want to die', not present in the final tracklist, and later included in the beavis & butthead compilation and in the pennyroyal tea unreleased cd single. On both sides there is one 'bullet point' between each track name. There are three bullet points between "IHMAWTD" and "All Apologies". Maybe this was because All Apologies was not to be included, or because "All Apologies" was to be a hidden track. This same point is reaffirmed on the cover where there is a big space between the two listed tracks. |

'heart shaped box' and 'all apologies' are the final scott litt mixes. |
