| notes | home made flexy discs, new titles are constantly produced since the mid '90s. they are known also as 'polish cards' as they were mainly available from polish sellers. thare are many similar records with tracks by other artists. housed in clear plastic sleeves, with a photocopied two-fold paper sleeve. on the front there are pictures of dubious/curious taste (a vomiting or flame-eating pig for something in the way, for example). on the back there are some codes and, at the bottom, a russian text (ghibkaia plastìnka) meaning 'flexible disc'. the records are flimsy sheets of coloured plastic, the label is a laser printed transparent sticker attached in the middle. they are made in a few hundreds copies each, in different colours. the music is recorded in mono, as written on the labels, and the sound quality is very bad. |
